Florida Weather
Florida has every reason to proclaim itself 'the Sunshine State'. Situated just 100 miles (160km) north of the Tropic of Cancer, the state enjoys a sub-tropical climate with average summer temperatures ranging from 80.5°F (27.0°C) in the north to 82.7°F (28.2°C) in the south. Winter averages range from 53.0°F (11.7°C) in the north to 68.5°F (20.3°C) in the south.

marker shows the location of a weather station. - To find out the weather conditions at a particular location, move the mouse pointer over the nearest marker and an information window displays.
- Press the plus button
to zoom inwards on the map, or press the minus button
to zoom out. You can also zoom in and out using the slider control

to pan in either direction. - To reset the map back to the starting view, press the
button. - The scale on the map is found at the bottom left-hand corner of the map.
Useful Tips
- The map can be moved around by holding down your cursor and dragging the map in any direction.
- Double clicking on any area of the map will centre the map to that location.
