Rotonda (sometimes spelled as Rotunda), a residentially developed wildlife sanctuary of approximately 20,000 acres. The residential developments, including Rotonda West, wind through golf courses and the freshwater canals dredged to form the land. A quiet community, its thirty-five hundred or so mainly retired residents fish, play golf and enjoy its natural settings and serenity.
Rotonda is located 1 1/2 hours south of Tampa, between Sarasota and Fort Myers. The crystal clear waters of the Gulf of Mexico and Boca Grande, where the rich and famous vacation, are a short 15 minute drive away.
There are six golf courses located in Rotonda, four operated by Rotonda Golf and Country Club and two by Pinemoor Gulf Club. Whether an avid golfer or not, the perfect course is right at your doorstep.
Clubs are available for hire at the golf courses if you do not bring your own. Just outside of Rotonda are many other courses to enjoy.
If you love nature, many exotic and beautiful birds live in the Rotonda West area which has been designated a bird sanctuary. You may also see other wildlife in the area, alligators, armadillos, wild pig, raccoons, and once in a while a bobcat has been seen running across the streets.
Rotonda is an ideal location to tour the Southwest Florida cities of Port Charlotte, Punta Gorda, Venice and Sarasota by car. Getting to points south requires driving north, east and then south to avoid Charlotte Harbour. There you'll find Sanibel and Captiva, Cape Coral, Fort Myers and Fort Myers Beach. However, one can investigate all these areas and Pine island including Matlacha, Bokeelia and St. James City as well as the "bridgeless" islands of North Captiva, Useppa, Don Pedro, Palm Island and Little Gasparilla much more quickly and easily by boat!
Whether you are a sunworshiper or not, the beaches of Southwest Florida must be seen, crystal clear waters, bright sunny days and many activities available such as deep sea fishing charters, boat rentals, day cruises and jet ski rentals. On Gasparilla Island you can rent a boat, jet ski, bikes or golf carts to see the island. There are many restaurants to sample some of Florida's finest seafood.
Beautiful three bedrooms, two bathrooms, air conditioned villa located on a double plot so you are not overlooked on either side. It comfortably sleeps six people.
The sleeping accommodation in 3 bedrooms includes one queen-size bed, one double bed and one room with twin single beds. There is a master suite with walk-in shower and large bath and twin basins, a guest bathroom and a separate poolside toilet. Hardwood floors are in all living areas with carpet in the bedrooms, marble window sills and comfortable high quality sofas.
The solar heated pool is south facing so even in the cooler months you can enjoy a refreshing swim at any time. Beside the pool is a wonderful spa hot tub great for relaxation! There is a BBQ, ideal for alfresco eating.

Our magnificent luxury villa, completed in August 2006, comprises 3 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, a private family room and a large living room. There is also a formal dining room and a nook for casual dining. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you will need - even for the most discerning cook.
The rear of the villa is south facing - the pool and lanai have the sun all day long - perfect for swimming, relaxing in the sun, watching the sunsets and eating al fresco. The south facing aspect is a real bonus in the winter months giving you more hours of sunshine. There is a fresh water canal at the back of the villa where you can observe a variety of birds, fish and of course the gators from your screened lanai. If you want to fish there you can. The rear of the villa also affords privacy from passers by. The villa is fully air-conditioned with additional fans in all living areas as well as the pool deck.

Minslake is an executive style villa which has been luxuriously fitted out as it was to originally have been a private home stands on a double plot affording maximum privacy. All overlooking a tranquil lake with stunning views with a host of wildlife. It is situated in a quiet residential area, with few neighbours and no passing traffic, as there is no outlet.
This family home is furnished to the highest standard and offers over 2,400 sq. ft living space. It comprises of the Master Bedroom, which has an ensuite with Jacuzzi bath, walk-in wardrobe and 2 further bedrooms with bathroom, a large family room, a formal living room and dining area. This stunning villa is spacious and fully air-conditioned and sleeps up to 8 people. There are 4 bedrooms including 2 master suites (one king and one queen) and 2 twin bedrooms which share a further bathroom. Both master suites have their own TV / DVD.
There are 2 separate lounge areas one of which features a 32 inch satellite TV, DVD and CD. All TVs in the villa are satellite and recieve over 100 channels. The other lounge provides a restful spot merely to relax, this room also serves as a dining room for those more formal dining occasions if required. A large fully equipped kitchen including microwave and dishwasher provides a more casual dining area. A separate utility room with washer and dryer completes the accommodation. We have installed a wireless broadband connection so you can sit on the lanai and surf the net.

Beautiful, privately-owned villa is on a spacious plot on the bank of the Rotonda River, with golf 2 minutes away and Gulf Coast beaches only 12 minutes. The villa comfortably sleeps 6-8 in three bedrooms plus sofa-bed in the den. The Master bedroom has king size bed, ensuite with a Jacuzzi bath, huge walk-in shower and his and hers vanities. Second bedroom has a queen size bed and the Third bedroom has twin beds; second bathroom has bath/shower. spacious "Great Room" with a vaulted cathedral ceiling.
The villa is comprehensively equipped including washer and dryer, oven, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator with ice maker, full size washer and dryer, Satellite TV, VCR, DVD, Hi-Fi, 5 TVs (one in each bedroom). Fully air-conditioned throughout with ceiling fans everywhere including the lanai.
The pool is electrically heated pool not just solar, so it's nice and warm all year round! Luxury spa with space for 8.
