Orange City

Orange City Town Hall

Orange City was named for the thousands of acres of orange groves planted in and around the city. The City has the ambiance of a small town, while offering all the amenities necessary for today's fast-paced lifestyle.

Because of its desirable location in Volusia County, several gated communities are being developed in the area.

The nearby beaches of Daytona Beach and New Smyrna Beach offer breathtaking beauty and water related fun! At low tide, the beach is up to 500 feet wide. It's easy to see why these beaches are considered among the best in the world. Whether your day at the beach is to relax and read a book, cast a line into the surf, build sand castles with the children, or cruise along the shoreline with the top down both beaches can accommodate your desired experience.

Daytona International Speedway is one of the world's finest racing facilities and the home of the world-famous Daytona 500, an event larger than the Super Bowl.

Within an easy car journey, is the scenic St. Johns River, famed for its bass fishing, links magnificent parks with wildlife preserves along the County's western border. True Southern charm can be found in DeLand, the County seat. This unique city features an award-winning downtown filled with antique shops and quaint restaurants, surrounded by stately historic homes and buildings.

Other nearby attractions include Ponce de Leon Lighthouse, Blue Springs State Park (home of the manatee), golf and tennis and river eco tours.
