Our luxury 5 bedroom villa is situated on the quiet and secluded Highlands Reserve community, facing the 10th fairway of the Highlands Reserve Golf Course.
Grumpy's Retreat has lots to offer, we have just installed flat-screen HD TVs in all the bedrooms (with a larger TV soon to be installed in the lounge), premium cable TV package (inc. Golf and Live UK Premiership Football), cable in all rooms, large private, screened pool deck with a heated* pool and FREE high speed internet (all you need is your laptop!).
We aim to make your stay as comfortable and relaxing as possible.
As our home is privately owned; we have made our "house a home." We have added furniture and home comforts that we feel will make our guests feel like they are in a "home away from home."
The front living room is tastefully decorated and has two three-seater sofas, a coffee table and a dining table which seats 6.
The rear family area is much more informal and adjoins to the kitchen. The family room has everything you would need for a fun night in together; TV with several cable channels including Disney Channel for the kids, DVD and video players with a selection of films to choose from, PS2 with loads of games and a variety of board games.
The first master bedroom has a queen size bed, bedside cabinets, lamps and clock/radio. There is cable TV, DVD player and telephone. This bedroom leads off to a Hollywood Style ensuite bathroom with double sink vanity unit, hairdryer, bath, separate walk-in shower and WC.
There is also a separate walk-in wardrobe (closet) which would accommodate any amount of those "essential" holiday clothes.
On the landing there is a fully stocked airing cupboard with bath towels, face cloths and beach towels for use around the pool.
The second master bedroom has a double bed, HDTV, cable, clock/radio and portable CD player. The room has chest of drawers and a walk-in wardrobe. The room is adjacent to the second full bathroom.
This twin bedroom is decorated with a Spiderman theme and has access to cable TV. It has a walk-in wardrobes, clock/radio and either a portable CD player or iPod docking station.

The kitchen is fully equipped to accommodate up to 12 people. There is a cooker, microwave, dishwasher, waste disposal unit, tea and coffee making facilities, American-style fridge freezer and toaster. There are ample glasses, cutlery and crockery to ensure your family meals are fully catered for.
There is also a separate utility room with washing machine, tumble dryer, ironing board and iron available for your use.
In addition to the main dining area, there is also a breakfast nook which seats 6 people and overlooks the pool area.
Our large pool and sun terrace overlooks the 10th Fairway of the golf course. There are a number of sun loungers, small tables and a patio set for you to be able to relax and enjoy the Florida sunshine. There is a covered area, so during the height of the midday sun you can keep cool.
There is also a selection of pool flotation devices and toys for the children (and big kids) to enjoy.
About 100 meters from the house there is also a larger community pool which is available for the residents use. Please note that during the winter months (i.e. October to March) it is recommended that you have the pool heated - there is a small weekly charge for this.
