There are a lot of benefits of going to Orlando, Florida on a family holiday because there are so many things to do in Orlando. Not only is Orlando home to many different kinds of theme parks but it is filled with fun, themed dinner theatres, lots of miniature golf and tons of high-end shopping malls.
You can spend days or weeks in Orlando and have fun in the sun every day that you choose to walk outside your front door. There is Walt Disney World, which consists of four different theme parks. There are passes that you can buy that will allow you to "park hop" between the different parks so that you can see the animals, ride many rides, experience behind the scenes at the movies and learn about the different cultures of the world. Plus, you’ll get to meet Mickey and the Gang.

From Disney, you can explore Universal Studios. There are two parks here that are also linked by what is called City Walk, where many restaurants and night clubs light up the scene in the evening. The first theme park explores various movies and TV shows including the Mummy and The Simpsons. The other theme park is broken into "Islands" to help you explore cartoons, Jurassic Park and even Harry Potter.
If the theme parks aren’t your scene, you can explore the great outdoors of Florida in a variety of ways. There are many airboat rides that will allow you to see the mangroves, alligators and much of the natural setting of Florida up close and personal. The airboats can be driven by you or a tour guide. There is also Gator World and Sea World where you can explore other types of animals that are indigenous to Florida as well as some that are not.

Shopping is always available in Orlando so that you can buy a new wardrobe, do some souvenir shopping or simply look for a few gifts for yourself. Many outlets exist from some of the top designers so that you can enjoy low prices as well as benefit from the conversion of the pound to dollar savings. There is also the Millenia Mall where more top designers and great restaurants exist.
When you want a little bit of affordable fun for the family, you can challenge everyone to a game of miniature golf at one of the dozens of courses around town. For the evening, everyone can wind down with dinner and a show at numerous dinner theatres around town. There’s the Pirates Adventure, The Titanic Experience, Medieval Times, Arabian Nights and many more so that you are in the action.
One city has never been filled with so many things to do, making a trip to Orlando absolutely unforgettable. If you were to try and do all of these things anywhere else, it would take you weeks because of the travel time. Here, you can find a centrally located hotel and either drive yourself around or hop on the city bus.
